2026 Winter Olympics: Schedule & Austrian Athletes to Watch Today

The 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy will reach their conclusion with the 16th day of competition on Sunday.

Austria has a chance to add a 19th medal to their tally as the Games draw to a close.

Teresa Stadlober will compete in the women’s 50km classic cross-country race at 10:00 AM local time, aiming for her second Olympic medal.

Also starting at 10:00 AM, the third run of the men’s four-man bobsleigh will take place, featuring the Austrian team of Markus Treichl, Sascha Stepan, Markus Sammer, and Kristian Huber. The final fourth run is scheduled for 12:15 PM.

The women’s freestyle skiing halfpipe final is set for 10:40 AM. Shortly after, at 11:05 AM, Switzerland and Canada will battle for gold in the women’s curling final.

The Olympic Winter Games will culminate in a major showdown in men’s ice hockey, with Canada facing the United States in a historic rivalry at 2:10 PM.

The official closing ceremony of the XXV Olympic Winter Games will be held in the Verona Arena at 8:30 PM.
