Цалапица: Майката на убития Димитър Малинов призова за нов протест в София

The mother of Dimitar Malinov, who was killed in Tsalaapitsa, is calling for a fresh protest in front of the Ministry of Interior building in Sofia. She stated in a post that many people were unable to reach the protest location in Plovdiv during the last demonstration.

The family’s demand remains unchanged – Vasil Kostadinov should be removed from the Ministry of Interior system.

The mother of Dimitar Malinov also reported that the prosecutor’s office, including the chief prosecutor, has been notified with a request to investigate how Vasil Kostadinov’s wife distributed information from the investigation into her son’s murder – data that is not public and to which she should not have access.

She again called on citizens to gather on Wednesday at 6:00 PM in front of the Ministry of Interior building to protest the decision to reappoint the police director, who was removed following the investigation into her daughter’s murder.

Meanwhile, discontent over the appointment of Vasil Kostadinov as director of the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior in Plovdiv has already led to a protest in the city. Days ago, citizens blocked the Plovdiv Ring Road, expressing their disagreement with the appointment and demanding justice in the case of Dimitar Malinov’s murder.
