Egyptian Stars Align for New Series “Qalb Shams”
Beloved Egyptian actress يسرا (Yousra) is set to appear as a guest on الإعلامية عبلة سلامة’s (Ebla Salama) program, “عندك وقت مع عبلة” (“Indak Waqt Ma’a Ebla”), according to reports. Meanwhile, a new project is bringing together some of the biggest names in Egyptian entertainment.
Director محمد سامي (Mohamed Sami) is stepping in front of the camera for the first time, joining يسرا in the upcoming series “قلب شمس” (“Qalb Shams,” or “Heart of the Sun”). The series will also feature actress توانا الجوهري (Tawana Al-Johari), as reported by Bawabat Al-Shuruq.
Notably, سامي has enlisted the talents of veteran director خالد يوسف (Khaled Youssef) to help capture his performance as an actor. CNN Arabic notes that this marks the first time Sami and Youssef have collaborated in this capacity.
The project is already generating buzz within the Egyptian entertainment industry, signaling a potentially significant television event for the region.
