70mai has officially launched its latest dash cam, the 4K A810S, globally. The new device builds upon the 4K A810, released last year, with significant improvements to both features and video quality. The dash cam now captures video up to 4k/30 fps, utilizing a Sony IMX678 sensor based on Sony’s latest Starvis 2 technology.
This is the same sensor found in 70mai’s premium 4K T800 dash cam, which was recently reviewed here. The 4K A810S also introduces buffered emergency recording, a feature absent in its predecessor. This functionality provides up to three minutes of pre-collision recording and 30 seconds of post-impact footage.
Like its counterparts, the A810S is equipped with 70mai’s night vision technology, designed to deliver superior clarity in low-light conditions. 70mai Lumi Vision technology ensures clear visibility around the vehicle even in near-total darkness, according to a company press release.
Notably, the dual-channel dash cam incorporates an ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) system, providing voice alerts for lane departure, vehicle distance, and pedestrian detection. In addition to the front camera, a rear camera is included, offering images up to 1080p HDR/30 fps. The company offers a choice between the RC24 in-car rear camera and the RC23 exterior-mounted backup camera.
Other features include GPS support, a smart parking guardian mode, AI motion detection, time-lapse recording, 24-hour parking surveillance, multilingual voice control, and 5 GHz WiFi 6 connectivity for high-speed transfers up to 40 MB/s. The device also features a 3-inch IPS LCD screen and app-based controls.
