Hyundai is expanding its Bayon SUV lineup with a new, more affordable LPG-powered option as demand for the vehicle type continues to rise. The South Korean automaker,fresh off a landmark World Rally Championship victory in 2024,is now offering the compact Bayon with a lower price point and flexible financing options,catering to budget-conscious consumers seeking a practical urban vehicle. The LPG variant boasts a 1,197cc engine and a combined range of 716km.
SUVs continue to dominate the automotive market, and Hyundai is responding with a more affordable, LPG-powered version of its Bayon model.
The automotive industry is currently witnessing a clear preference for Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs), with manufacturers increasingly focusing their efforts on this segment. Hyundai is among those brands, continuing to develop low-emission engine options alongside its SUV lineup.
The South Korean automaker has also experienced substantial growth, fueled by its success in motorsports, particularly in the World Rally Championship (WRC). While relinquishing the lead to Toyota this year, Hyundai achieved a landmark victory in 2024, securing the World Rally Championship drivers’ title with Thierry Neuville – a first in the company’s history.
This success translates to increased brand recognition as the company expands its range of production vehicles. One of Hyundai’s more recent offerings is the Bayon SUV, a model now available with an LPG engine option, positioning it to attract a growing customer base.
Hyundai Bayon: LPG Option with Substantial Discounts
With the Bayon, Hyundai demonstrates its ability to produce a compact SUV ideal for urban mobility. The vehicle measures 418 cm in length, 176 cm in width, and 150 cm in height, with a five-person capacity.
The LPG-powered Bayon features a 1,197cc four-cylinder engine producing 79 horsepower. The vehicle has a top speed of 158 km/h and a total range of 716 km.
The starting price for the Bayon is €22,850, but Hyundai is currently offering incentives to reduce costs. The vehicle is now available with an initial deposit of just €3,780, followed by 35 monthly installments of €99 each, with a TAN of 4.95% and an APR of 6.71%, culminating in a final balloon payment of €11,425.
