A public clash has erupted between two prominent Hungarian figures as rocker Attila Pataky publicly criticized actor Ervin NagyS political views. Pataky, frontman of the popular band EDDA and increasingly vocal in his support of fidesz, recently singled out Nagy for his support of opposition parties. The exchange highlights a growing trend of Hungarian celebrities taking public stances on political issues, and underscores the often-divisive rhetoric surrounding the country’s political landscape.

Attila Pataky leveled some pointed criticism at Ervin Nagy, offering a harsh assessment of the actor’s views.

The frontman of EDDA has criticized Hungarian Prime Minister Péter’s party before, but this time he specifically named several public figures whose statements he found particularly objectionable.

The singer singled out actor Ervin Nagy, who has fully supported the opposition formation since Péter’s emergence. Pataky described the actor as a “bitter, hateful person” and labeled him a politicking celebrity.

– You can create harm and chaos temporarily, but never life. We are pro-life, we are Hungarians – Bors quotes the singer, who believes that celebrities entering politics can briefly stir up emotions, but it ultimately amounts to nothing.
