Jakarta’s stock market experienced a modest decline Monday, as the Jakarta Composite index (JCI) closed slightly lower despite high trading volume. The dip follows a period of strong gains for the JCI, which has risen over 10% as the start of the year amid continued foreign investment [[2]]. While overall market activity remained robust, selective selling pressure on key stocks-particularly in the resource and energy sectors-contributed to the day’s pullback.
