Engineer Khaled Abbas, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the New Administrative Capital for Urban Development, announced that preparations are complete to host the festivities.
New Year’s Eve Celebrations
The city is decked out for an exceptional event, Abbas stated in a recent interview on the “Last Word” program with Ahmed Salem on the ON channel. He explained that the New Administrative Capital has transitioned from a construction zone to a thriving hub, necessitating the launch of annual official celebrations in the city’s landmark areas, particularly the Iconic Tower district. This move signals a new era for the rapidly developing city, which is quickly becoming a major cultural destination.
Details of the New Administrative Capital’s Celebrations
The celebratory program includes a full family day starting in the afternoon and extending to midnight, featuring entertainment and games for all ages, not just young adults, Abbas revealed.
The entertainment lineup will be headlined by some of the biggest names in Arab music, including Tamer Hosny, Elissa, and Tamer Ashour. The night will culminate with a spectacular visual display at midnight, featuring fireworks, drone shows, and laser technology illuminating the Iconic Tower.
New Year’s Eve Tickets
Tickets for the concert sold out immediately after going on sale due to overwhelming demand, Abbas noted, adding that the company is considering increasing the venue’s capacity.
He also reassured the public that the areas surrounding the venue will be open to those who were unable to secure tickets, allowing them to enjoy the fireworks, laser show, and drone displays from outside the main event space.
