Boca Juniors midfielder Kevin Zenón and Sol Amsler celebrated their wedding on Friday, December 27th, in a picturesque ceremony held at a waterfront venue in Santa Fe, Argentina. The joyous occasion drew a strong turnout of current and former teammates as the Argentine league enjoys its winter break.
Football Stars Celebrate with the Happy Couple
At least five players from the Boca Juniors squad were in attendance, including Leandro Paredes (accompanied by Camila Galante), Exequiel Zeballos (with Noelia and their daughter Brisa), Miguel Merentiel (with Victoria), and Leandro Brey. Lautaro Blanco joined the festivities directly in Santa Fe. The gathering highlighted the close bonds within the Boca Juniors team.

Camila Galante shared a post showing Paredes, Merentiel, Zeballos, and Brey traveling together on a private plane with their partners and Zeballos’ daughter. A viral video also surfaced of Merentiel enjoying the celebration.
Riverside Ceremony and Lively Reception
The ceremony took place outdoors with the lagoon as a stunning backdrop at the Dique II venue. Due to the warm weather, the celebration continued indoors in the main hall. Smoke flares were ignited during the vows, and the band Los Totora provided live entertainment.

Images circulating on social media captured moments from the preparations and the couple’s pre-wedding vacation. A private dinner featuring Zenón, Merentiel, and Zeballos with other couples and players was also shared in the days leading up to the event.
Ezequiel “Equi” Fernández and Cristian Medina, two midfielders developed through Boca Juniors’ youth system, also appeared in photos with the newlyweds and the guest list.
“Congratulations, friends,” Boca Juniors player Lautaro Blanco wrote in a post alongside a photo with the newly married couple.

The wedding capped off a successful year for the footballer, who solidified his place with the club after joining Boca in January 2024 from Unión de Santa Fe for around $3.5 million. He was also called up to the Argentina Under-23 national team for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
The event’s organization and atmosphere were distinctly football-focused, with several members of the squad taking advantage of the winter break to travel and support the couple in the city where their relationship began.

Shared images on social media include glimpses of the preparations and the couple’s pre-wedding getaway, as well as a private dinner that brought together Zenón, Merentiel, and Zeballos with other couples and players.
The marriage comes during a period of institutional pause, with the Boca Juniors squad currently enjoying a break. Players are scheduled to return to training on January 2nd, 2026, for medical examinations and preseason preparations.
