swedish public radio station P3 is launching a new weekday magazine show, Magasinet i P3, to fill the slot following its morning programming.The program, broadcasting live from Malmö starting February 9th, aims to deliver a blend of cultural analysis and entertainment, reflecting a growing audience appetite for pop culture coverage. Hosted by actress and writer Siri Fagerudd and former television personality Anton Jordås, the show will draw on P3’s music expertise and incorporate contributions from across Sveriges Radio‘s news divisions.
Swedish radio is adding a new pop culture magazine show to its lineup, taking over after the morning program wraps up. Magasinet i P3 will broadcast live from Malmö, offering a curated mix of music selected by P3’s music editors.
Leading the new show is Siri Fagerudd, an actress originally from Ostrobothnia, Finland, who is already a familiar voice on P3. “It’s going to be ridiculously fun to zoom in on everything from film and literature to the fashion of the Olympics throughout history,” Fagerudd said. “With Magasinet i P3, I’m one step closer to my dream title of ‘culture aunt.’”
Joining her is Anton Jordås, a former aerobics instructor from Stockholm. “I want this program to be just like those glossy magazines your mom used to read at the hair salon,” Jordås explained. “You’ll be entertained, but you’ll also learn something new about a film or a celebrity who’s done something silly.”
The program will also feature daily guests, P3’s own experts, and contributors from other news divisions, offering analysis and the latest updates on everything from sports to music. The addition of a dedicated pop culture magazine show reflects the growing demand for in-depth coverage of entertainment trends.
Magasinet i P3 will air every weekday from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., beginning Monday, February 9. Listen live on P3 and in the Sveriges Radio app.

Siri Fagerudd grew up in Ostrobothnia, Finland. She is a trained screenwriter and actress, educated at the School of Scen in Stockholm, and a recent transplant to Malmö. She has been featured extensively on P3 and will now continue as a host of Magasinet i P3.
About Anton Jordås
Anton Jordås is originally from Stockholm but now lives in Malmö. He previously appeared on the channel as a sidekick to Charlotta Björck in P3. He has also worked on SVT productions such as På spåret and Sverige Live.
