Veteran rapper Iwa K has recently been linked to singer Denada in a developing story. Claims have surfaced suggesting Iwa K is the biological father of Denada’s son, Ressa Rossano. Addressing the reports, Iwa K has now spoken out with a firm denial.
When approached at a studio during a February 10, 2026, appearance on Trans TV’s “Rumpi No Secret,” Iwa K immediately refuted the allegations, stating the circulating rumors are entirely false.
“Basically, from my side, the bottom line is, he’s not my son, that’s all,” Iwa K said with a laugh.

When asked about the origin of the claims linking him to the situation, Iwa K admitted he doesn’t know where the story began, suggesting the question be directed to those who initially spread the rumor.
“If you’re asking, ask the people who started it, don’t ask me, I have no idea. I’m just getting splashed with oil here,” he explained.
Despite the attention, Iwa K says he’s taking the situation in stride. He added that the rumors have actually led to reconnecting with people from his past.
“But it’s okay. It’s actually been a chance to reconnect with people,” he said.
Regarding any potential impact on his function or business relationships, Iwa K assured reporters that the issue hasn’t caused any significant disruption. He believes those closest to him understand his open and straightforward personality.
“Business relations, everything, they don’t buy it, it doesn’t affect anything at all. People who like to hang out with me, whether they’re friends, business associates, or family,” he clarified.
Iwa K also acknowledged a long-standing acquaintance with Denada, stemming from their time in the music industry. He revealed they first collaborated when Denada was still in high school.
“Denada first performed with me when she was in high school. Back then, she’d still arrive to rehearsals in her school uniform, and we’d practice,” Iwa K recalled.
But, he clarified that their relationship was strictly professional, primarily focused on performance projects rather than long-term musical collaborations.
Concerning his family’s reaction, particularly his wife, Iwa K stated there were no major issues. He explained he’s always open with his wife and immediately informed her when the rumors surfaced.
“No, my wife knows I’m honest, so I tell her everything. So when it came up, I found out on February 6th during a press conference. My wife asked me, ‘Are you sure there’s nothing you’re leaving out?’ I said, ‘No, no, no.’ And that was that,” he concluded.
