Kacper Tomasiak added to his impressive Winter Olympics haul on Saturday, securing his second medal of the Games. The 19-year-old followed up his silver medal on the normal hill with a bronze in the large hill competition.

“Before the season, I didn’t expect results like these. Even before the Games, I didn’t think it could go this well,” Tomasiak said candidly to Polsat Sport.
“I was hoping to get a good result on the normal hill, because we trained more on that hill before the Games. But I managed it on both, so I’m very happy,” Tomasiak added in an interview with Michał Białoński.
Tomasiak made his World Cup debut this season, and while he didn’t reach the podium in any individual events, he’s now a two-time Olympic medalist. This remarkable performance underscores his potential as a rising star in the sport.
This marks the third medal for Poland at the Games in Italy. On Friday, Władimir Semirunnij claimed silver in the 10,000m speed skating event.
