Türk Telekom Trabzonspor’u Farklı Yendi, Yarı Finale Yükseldi

Türk Telekom advanced to the semifinals of the Ziraat Bankası Erkekler Türkiye Kupası with a dominant 100-77 victory over Trabzonspor on Tuesday, February 17, 2026. The win secures their spot in the Final Four tournament.

The Ankara-based team started strong, racing to a 5-0 lead in the opening minutes thanks to early baskets from Doğuş Özdemiroğlu and Bankston. Trabzonspor responded with points from Reed and Yeboah, briefly taking an 8-7 advantage midway through the first quarter. Berkan Durmaz then fueled a run for Türk Telekom, giving them a 13-10 lead before closing the period ahead 18-17 with a late three-pointer from Smith.

Türk Telekom continued their momentum into the second quarter, extending their lead to 43-30 by the 17th minute with contributions from Doğuş Özdemiroğlu and Usher. Despite efforts from Trabzonspor’s Delgado and Reed, Türk Telekom maintained control, pushing the score to 49-34 and entering halftime with a commanding 51-37 lead, largely thanks to a 12-point performance from Doğuş Özdemiroğlu.

The third quarter saw Türk Telekom further solidify their advantage. Simonovic, Trifunovic, and Usher contributed from beyond the arc, building a 25-point lead at 68-43 by the 26th minute. They continued to dominate, finishing the third period up 79-58 and ultimately securing the 100-77 win to book their place in the Dörtlü Final.

Türk Telekom will now face the winner of the Safiport Erokspor-Fenerbahçe Beko quarterfinal matchup in the semifinals on Friday, February 20, at the Sinan Erdem Spor Salonu.
