Singer K.Will revealed the secret to his 14kg weight loss.
A video detailing K.Will’s recent two-month weight loss journey, during which he shed 14kg, was released on February 18th on the YouTube channel ‘Hyungsu is K.Will.’
Appearing noticeably slimmer in the video, K.Will shared his current status, stating, “I’ve lost 14kg compared to my heaviest weight. Currently, I’m up about 3kg, putting my total weight loss at 11kg.”
He went on to discuss his previous attempts at weight loss, saying, “I couldn’t just let things go, so I tried Wegovy. It didn’t work, and I experienced yo-yo dieting. I lost about 4kg over four months, which isn’t much for guys.” He added, “Wegovy taught me that alcohol tastes bad. So I quit, and then I started gaining weight again.”
K.Will explained that this realization motivated him to focus on exercise. “I decided I really needed to work out. It took about two months to lose 14kg,” he said. “I did exercise, but I also followed a diet. You absolutely can’t lose weight with exercise alone. Even if you do cardio, it won’t last if you don’t maintain it.”
While Wegovy hadn’t been successful, K.Will found success with Mounjaro, combining it with a dedicated diet and exercise routine. “I ate one proper meal a day, exercised, and sang – and that’s how I lost the weight,” he explained. “I consistently did ‘Stairway to Heaven’ and interval running. You have to combine it with a diet. Building muscle mass prevents yo-yo dieting.”
He also emphasized the importance of balance, stating, “Eating and exercising in moderation is fine. Overdoing it isn’t helpful.” K.Will concluded, “You need to have the will and believe in the results to succeed.”
