Rio de Janeiro

Rio de Janeiro is once again in the throes of Carnival celebrations, with tens of thousands of performers and millions of spectators participating in the festivities. The world’s largest show of its kind has been unfolding in the streets for weeks, and the grand parades of the top samba schools have been captivating audiences for the past three nights. These schools have 70 minutes each on the packed Sambadrome to demonstrate their superiority through choreography, elaborate floats, and stunning costumes.
