Ramez Galal’s Recent Ramadan Prank Show Promises Chaos: “What’s Coming Has No Equal”

Egyptian prankster and actor Ramez Galal is gearing up for another round of elaborate hoaxes during Ramadan 2026 with his new show, “Ramez… Level of the Beast.” The official trailer released Tuesday reveals a series of shocking scenarios designed to terrify unsuspecting celebrity guests.

The promo, which has already generated buzz online, showcases a labyrinthine set where participants are plunged from one level to another, subjected to strange liquids, and generally thrown into states of panic. This latest installment continues Galal’s tradition of high-stakes pranks during the holy month, a popular – and often controversial – television staple in the Arab world.

Among those reportedly falling victim to the elaborate ruse are Egyptian stars Ahmed El Sqa, Hana El Zahed, and Mustafa Gharib, alongside actresses Asmaa Galal, Samah Anwar, and Caroline Azmy. Singers Dina and Hamo Bika are also featured in the trailer, visibly shaken by the experience.

In the trailer, Galal appears disguised in a mask and leather coat, delivering a chilling warning: “What’s coming has no equal.”

Galal, who graduated from the Egyptian Academy of Arts, has been creating prank shows for years, often featuring both Egyptian and international celebrities like Paris Hilton, Steven Seagal, and Shah Rukh Khan. While his shows are incredibly popular, they have also drawn criticism, including concerns about animal welfare and the potentially damaging nature of the pranks.

In 2020, a lawsuit was filed seeking to suspend his show “Ramez is Officially Crazy,” highlighting the ongoing debate surrounding the ethics of his brand of entertainment. Despite the controversy, Galal continues to draw large audiences with his annual Ramadan offerings.

Yara El Sakry shared behind-the-scenes details of being pranked by Ramez Galal, adding to the anticipation surrounding the show’s premiere. The show is expected to feature challenges and surprises for a diverse range of stars from the worlds of art, and sports.
