IC Train Changes Feb 19, 2026: Wagon Info & Disruptions

Several Polish Intercity (IC) train lines will operate with altered train compositions on February 19, 2026, potentially impacting seating arrangements for passengers, the rail operator announced.

  • IC 6142/3 “FREDRO”, traveling from Jelenia Góra to Warsaw Wschodnia, will include one first-class carriage, one half-first/half-second class carriage, and five second-class carriages. One of the second-class carriages is equipped for wheelchair access. However, a dining car will not be available on this route.
  • IC 3122/3 “KINGA”, connecting Kraków Główny and Warsaw Wschodnia, will feature two first-class carriages and five second-class carriages, with accommodations for passengers using wheelchairs. This service will also operate without a dining car.
  • IC 8323/2 “SUKIENNICE”, running from Szczecin Główny to Kraków Główny, will consist of one half-first/half-second class carriage and four second-class carriages. Neither wheelchair-accessible accommodations nor a dining car will be available.
  • IC 3120/1 “KARŁOWICZ”, traveling from Kraków Główny to Warsaw Wschodnia, will have one half-first/half-second class carriage and four second-class carriages. This train will not include a dining car or wheelchair access.
  • IC 5130/1 “BRDA”, operating from Bydgoszcz Główna to Warsaw Wschodnia, will comprise one first-class carriage, one half-first/half-second class carriage, and five second-class carriages, including a wheelchair-accessible carriage. A dining car will not be provided.
  • IC 2406/7 “SZTYGAR”, running from Lublin Główny to Katowice, will consist of three second-class carriages and will not offer wheelchair access.
  • IC 1026/7 “PODLASIE”, traveling from Warsaw Wschodnia to Terespol, will include two first-class carriages, five second-class carriages, and a carriage equipped for wheelchair users. A dining car will not be available.
  • IC 1126/7 “PODLASIE”, operating from Terespol to Warsaw Zachodnia, will feature two first-class carriages, five second-class carriages, and a wheelchair-accessible carriage. This service will not have a dining car.
  • IC 1530/1 “BRDA”, running from Warsaw Wschodnia to Bydgoszcz Główna, will consist of two first-class carriages, five second-class carriages, and a carriage for passengers using wheelchairs. A dining car will not be available.
  • IC 1642/3 “FREDRO”, traveling from Warsaw Wschodnia to Jelenia Góra, will include one first-class carriage, one half-first/half-second class carriage, and five second-class carriages, with a wheelchair-accessible carriage. A dining car will not be provided.
  • IC 4204/5 “MORCINEK”, operating from Katowice to Lublin Główny, will consist of three first-class carriages and will not offer wheelchair access.
  • IC 2300/1 “JAGIEŁŁO”, running from Lublin Główny to Kraków Główny, will consist of three first-class carriages and will not offer wheelchair access.
  • IC 1322/3 “KINGA”, traveling from Warsaw Wschodnia to Kraków Główny, will include one first-class carriage, one half-first/half-second class carriage, and five second-class carriages, with a wheelchair-accessible carriage. A dining car will not be available.

Passengers may be assigned different seats than those indicated on their tickets due to these changes. Travelers are advised to check the information posted inside the carriages. The alterations reflect the rail operator’s ongoing efforts to manage service disruptions and maintain connectivity across its network.

Passengers can submit complaints regarding travel comfort through the following channels:

  • via the online complaint form on the website (select “Travel Comfort” in the “Your question concerns” field),
  • in person at any ticket office displaying the PKP Intercity logo,

The company apologized for any inconvenience caused by these changes.
