A residential fire in Bangkok, Thailand, completely destroyed a single-story wooden home on February 20, 2026. The blaze, which occurred in the Phahon Yothin 52 area, prompted a response from local fire and rescue teams.

Firefighters were dispatched to the scene in the Khlong Thanon neighborhood of the Sai Mai district after receiving a report of the fire, according to the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration’s Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation. The structure, used as a residence, was fully engulfed when crews arrived.

The fire covered an estimated 100 square meters and crews used water to extinguish the flames. Even as the home was a total loss, no injuries or fatalities were reported. The cause of the fire remains undetermined due to the extent of the damage.

The area falls under the jurisdiction of the Phahon Yothin Fire and Rescue Station. Support was also provided by the Rama 199 Radio Center, the Uruphong Radio Center, and volunteer disaster relief teams. Further details about the incident are available from the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation.
