Lora Raines first met her future husband in 1999 at a friend’s home, where she was immediately introduced to his entire family. At the finish of the evening, he asked for her phone number. In a 2025 interview with People magazine, Raines recalled that he told his parents immediately that he had met the woman he would marry. “He had a great sense of humor. He was very kind and I couldn’t have asked for a better husband,” she added.
Two and a half years later, the couple relocated to Los Angeles, where Raines pursued a career in acting, and her husband worked as a graphic designer for films. They married in 2004.
