
. Egyptian actress Zeina announced the passing of her brother, Islam Reda Ismail, via her official Facebook account.
In a heartfelt post, Zeina wrote, “To God we belong and to Him we shall return… My brother, my son, my beloved, and my only support in this world after God… My beloved brother, Islam Reda Ismail.”
The funeral prayer will be held today, Tuesday, February 24th, following the noon prayer at the Hassan El-Sharbatly Mosque in New Cairo, according to the actress.
Zeina’s most recent work is the series “Ward wa Shokolata,” which also stars Mohamed Farrag, Maha Nassar, Maryam El-Khosht, Murad Makram, Safaa El-Toukhi, Mohamed Soliman, Amr Mahdi, and Bassem Ragab, alongside a number of young talents including Youssef Hashish and Aya Saleem. The series is written by Mohamed Raja, directed by Mando El-Adl, and produced by El-Adl Group, headed by Jamal El-Adl.
