Rising Indonesian star Fajar Sadboy has addressed recent reports concerning a detailed and demanding rider, denying claims of excessive requests. The singer, who has quickly gained popularity, initially refuted the allegations himself and now his management team is speaking out to clarify the situation.
CongQ, head of Juara Kreatif, Fajar Sadboy’s management company, stated that the 17-year-old artist is not known for making extravagant demands, particularly when it comes to facilities and accommodations. “So, if there’s a need for this or that, it doesn’t seem like there is,” CongQ explained during a meeting in North Jakarta on Friday, February 27, 2026.
The clarification comes after a rider circulated online detailing specific requests, including Muscat green grapes without seeds, Evian or Fiji water, lychee-flavored gelato with Stevia, and specific brands of Indonesian cuisine like nasi padang from well-known restaurants. The rider also requested American Cheetos, Gorontalo snacks, Dior and Clinique makeup, an Alphard vehicle for transportation, a massage chair, a whiteboard, and a minimum of four security personnel.

CongQ also shared experiences where the team accepted jobs with limited resources. He recounted a situation where a client offered only two tickets for travel with a limited budget. “The tickets were only two, but the price was just this. I thought, well, okay,” CongQ said.
Despite the detailed rider circulating, CongQ emphasized Fajar Sadboy’s easygoing nature. “If there’s food, he’ll eat it,” he noted, describing the artist’s flexible approach. The singer’s willingness to adapt highlights a pragmatic attitude as he navigates a rapidly growing career.
Fajar Sadboy is currently expanding his skillset by taking acting lessons. “There was a film offering a role, but the pay was standard. He said, ‘Okay, let’s do it.’ I asked, ‘What do you think, Jar?’ and he just said, ‘Okay,’” CongQ shared, illustrating Fajar’s willingness to embrace recent opportunities.
“He’s learning to act, reading thick scripts, and having to memorize lines. Whereas Fajar isn’t usually faced with that, he’s trying to learn, and I’m honestly grateful,” CongQ added, praising the young artist’s dedication. This commitment to growth underscores Fajar Sadboy’s ambition as he transitions into new areas of the entertainment industry.
The incident highlights the often-exaggerated expectations placed on emerging artists and the importance of managing public perception in the age of social media.
