China is calling for an immediate halt to military operations and a return to dialogue regarding the situation in Iran, according to a statement released Sunday by Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi. Wang, who is also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, made the remarks during a phone conversation with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
