What Happened Overnight?

Bahrain’s Interior Ministry reported damage to a hotel and two residential buildings in the capital, Manama, following an Iranian attack. Video footage posted on X shows a high-rise building with a fire on one of the upper floors, reportedly caused by a drone.

“Iranian aggression (…) caused material damage, with no casualties,” Bahrain’s Interior Ministry stated on X.

The largest U.S. Air Force base in the Middle East, Al Udeid, was also targeted by Iran. Qatar’s Ministry of National Defense announced Friday that air defense systems successfully intercepted a drone attack on the facility.

A series of explosions and air raid sirens were heard late Thursday evening in Tel Aviv. “A rocket projectile breached Israeli defense,” local media reported.

The first group of Polish citizens evacuated by military transport aircraft from the Middle East region arrived in Poland early Friday morning – according to the Operational Command of the Armed Forces. The decision to involve the military was made by President Karol Nawrocki.
