Mirtha Legrand has joined those questioning Andrea del Boca’s motives for entering Gran Hermano Generación Dorada, suggesting the actress may be attempting a public image rehabilitation. During an appearance on La noche de Mirtha, Amalia Granata was particularly critical, describing del Boca as “sinister.”

Legrand as well recounted a decades-long rift with del Boca, explaining that the actress hasn’t spoken to her in 25 years – a period coinciding with the age of del Boca’s daughter, Anna Chiara del Boca. The falling out, Legrand revealed, stemmed from an incident that occurred roughly nine months prior.

“She was very angry with me, and she never spoke to me again. It was because I said she was pregnant. I had heard it on the radio that night, Laura Ubfal had said she was pregnant, and the next day Andrea del Boca was coming to lunch (Almorzando con Mirtha Legrand), and when she came in, because I was greeting the guests at the time, I said to her: Andrea, congratulations, something like that, I don’t remember the exact words, and that was enough for her to never greet me again,” Legrand recalled.

Legrand continued: “It was terrible…I remember, at a funeral, when Yankelevich’s daughter (Romina Yan) died, I went, and at one point I looked over and saw she was alone, so I went over to her and said: Andrea, I want to say hello. She looked at me and didn’t say anything. So I walked away, it was a funeral, we were all very upset.”

“After that, I never heard from her again, but it’s difficult,” Legrand added before turning back to Amalia Granata: “Did I do the right thing asking you that question? Because you really let loose, dear.” The reality demonstrate, which premiered earlier this year, is already generating significant buzz as it brings together a mix of veteran celebrities and fresh faces.

Granata, who had previously spoken on the matter, emphasized: “Yes, because I believe this whitewashing operation that this woman is doing because she entered is not only because of my friend’s case (Ricardo Biasotti), but also because of the funds she received through the university, but it’s going to conclude up backfiring on her because it will show what she is; a bad person.”
