A robbery took place at a jewelry store in Upplands Väsby, Sweden, on Sunday, with authorities reporting that the suspects brandished objects resembling weapons.
Police reported that two masked individuals robbed a jewelry store in Upplands Väsby, located north of Stockholm, according to Expressen.
The two individuals then fled the scene, police said.
“According to witnesses, they displayed objects that appeared to be weapons,” police stated.
“I know that the suspects hit a glass window, and it is unclear whether that was what made the sound, or if shots were actually fired. We have received witness reports of sounds that may resemble gunshots,” police spokesperson Anna Lärk told Expressen.
Multiple police patrols are currently at the scene to assess the situation.
As of now, We find no reports of any injuries.
