“My people, we are selling everything today cheaply. I’m raising money for my operation on March 23rd in Chile. I have to undergo surgery again due to the fact that the management of Águila was humiliating and, apart from not activating the medical insurance and operating in a public hospital, they operated on me incorrectly,” Julio wrote in a social media post.

Julio Accuses Former Club of Failing to Activate Medical Insurance
The striker, who has scored 36 goals in over 100 appearances for various clubs in El Salvador – including Luis Ángel Firpo, Municipal Limeño, Alianza FC, and most recently CD Águila – directly accused his former club of failing to activate his medical insurance while he was under contract. This situation has forced him to seek alternative funding for the necessary procedure.
Julio has been sharing images of the clothing and merchandise he’s selling online to quickly gather the required resources, including items from his previous clubs. He has also reposted messages related to his situation, amplifying his call for support.

In a subsequent post, Julio added: “’Big club,’ they say. My respect to all the players at the club. They deserve much more. As an institution, a disaster,” he wrote, alongside a message from his partner, who added: “If a full interview came out, the club would be in national shame.”
