The developers of Project Motor Racing have addressed the reception of their recently released racing simulation.
Straight4 Studios, the team behind Project Motor Racing, acknowledged the lukewarm response to the game’s launch. The title currently maintains a user score of just 33% on Steam.
“Let’s be frank: we missed the mark. We didn’t hit the areas that matter most. We’ve disappointed you, and we’ve disappointed ourselves. (…) However, we are working on a course correction. After seven patches, we are on track to deliver the experience you expect. (…)
We will release a major update by the end of March that will rebuild the foundations of Project Motor Racing – bringing our title closer to what a serious motorsport game should be,” stated a representative from Straight4 Studios.
The developers plan to share details regarding the substantial update soon, which is slated for release in the final days of March. This patch is intended to restore player confidence in Project Motor Racing. Details of the update are forthcoming.
