Tehran, Iran – Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) launched a new wave of military attacks against targets in Israel and the United States on Monday, March 9, 2026, vowing to continue operations until “the enemy is defeated and regrets its actions.” The escalation comes amid heightened regional tensions and raises concerns about a wider conflict.

The IRGC announced the launch of what it termed “Wave 32” of its “True Promise 4” operation, utilizing “Qadr” and “Khorramshahr” missiles, according to a statement released Monday evening. Iranian state television broadcast footage purportedly showing the launch of these missiles toward targets in northern and central Israel.

Brigadier General Majid Mousavi, commander of the IRGC’s Aerospace Force, affirmed the continuation of attacks against the United States and Israel, stating, “Be certain that the attack on the enemy will not stop for a moment.” He further declared that future missile launches would carry warheads weighing at least one ton, and that the frequency and range of attacks would increase. Al Jazeera reports the IRGC used advanced ballistic missiles in the recent attacks.

The IRGC also indicated its capability to sustain a prolonged conflict, asserting it could engage in “six months at least of fierce war” against the U.S. And Israel. According to reports from An-Nahar, the IRGC claims to have already struck over 200 American and Israeli targets in the region.

In a separate development, Iranian media reported that the IRGC launched “Wave 30” of attacks using “Khorramshahr,” “Fatah,” and “Khaibar” missiles, as well as strategic drones, against Israel and U.S. Targets. This wave coincided with the announcement of Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei as the new Supreme Leader. Elaph details the launch of these missiles and the accompanying imagery.

The development underscores growing regional instability and the potential for further escalation. The IRGC’s statements and actions suggest a firm commitment to pursuing its objectives, even in the face of potential consequences. This announcement could influence future diplomatic talks and international efforts to de-escalate the situation.
