Three people are dead and four others injured, including two children ages 7 and 11, following a late-night fire Tuesday in Miranda de Ebro, Spain. The incident underscores the devastating impact of residential fires on families and communities.

Emergency services received alerts about the blaze at approximately 10:44 p.m. Local time, with initial reports indicating at least two people were trapped inside the building on Fuente Street, according to the regional emergency service 1-1-2.

Police, firefighters, and medical personnel were dispatched to the scene, including two advanced life support units, two basic life support ambulances, and a primary care medical team. Mobile ICU units from La Rioja and Álava too responded.

Upon arrival, medical staff from Sacyl, the regional health service, treated seven individuals. Two were pronounced dead at the scene, and five were transported to hospitals. Tragically, one of those transported later died at a hospital.
