EuroMillions Jackpot Soars to Over €209 Million, Won in the UK
A record-breaking jackpot of €209.5 million was claimed in Tuesday’s EuroMillions draw, with the winning ticket purchased in the United Kingdom. This marks the largest EuroMillions win of 2026, according to the official FDJ® website.
The winning numbers were 12, 14, 27, 44, and 50, with Lucky Stars 4 and 12. The win comes after a previous record-setting EuroMillions payout of €250 million in France in August, won by a group of five friends from the Île-de-France region. That win represented the largest national gain in a lottery draw in French history. A previous French record stood at €220 million, won in Tahiti in 2021.
In addition to the massive jackpot, one ticket holder in France matched the code for a €1 million prize, with the winning code being MM 280 8208. The French lottery operator, FDJ, also confirmed that a new jackpot of at least €17 million will be up for grabs in the next draw on Friday, March 13, 2026.
Three other players, including one from France, came close to winning the top prize, matching all the main numbers but only one Lucky Star, and each received a consolation prize of €516,689.70. The lucky winner played 12-14-27-44-50 with stars 4 and 12.
