Dommen klar: Kastes ut
Mickey Rourke is facing eviction from his Los Angeles home after falling behind on rent payments, according to reports. The news comes less than a year after the actor was removed from the “Big Brother” house.
Court documents reveal a judge has canceled Rourke’s lease and returned the property to the landlord. The ruling was made on Monday, March 9, 2026, in Los Angeles, and Rourke reportedly did not appear in court.
The actor received a notice of default before Christmas, Dagbladet reported. Following the notice, a fundraising campaign was launched with the goal of raising approximately $100,000 (roughly one million Norwegian kroner) to assist the actor.
Rourke initially denied involvement with the fundraising effort, expressing embarrassment and stating, “It is shameful. I am completely humiliated. – I would rather stick a gun up my ass and pull the trigger.” His manager, Kimberly Hines, later clarified that Rourke had misunderstood the situation. “We said, ‘Mickey, there are some people who seek to help you.’ I don’t think he understood, and now it’s grow a media circus, and he flipped out,” Hines told Dagbladet.
Rourke rose to prominence in the 1980s with roles in films such as “Diner,” “9 1/2 Weeks,” and “Angel Heart.” This latest development adds another layer to the veteran actor’s complex public persona, a figure known for both acclaimed performances and outspoken commentary.
