Let’s Dance: Gabriela Marcinková & Jaroslav Ihring – Return to the Dancefloor

A special series of the dance competition show Let’s Dance is bringing together its most accomplished contestants – former winners and popular figures from previous seasons are returning to the dance floor. Among them is actress Gabriela Marcinková, who will be paired with professional dancer Jaroslav Ihring.

Marcinková’s decision to return to the competition was straightforward. When she received a call with an offer to participate in the special series of Let’s Dance, she didn’t hesitate. “It was a clear answer. I would come here even to operate as an extra, clapping, just to be here,” Marcinková admitted with a smile at the Let’s dance party.

This iteration of the show differs from a typical season. The special series will feature winners and prominent personalities from past seasons, creating a more intense atmosphere and heightened expectations. However, the actress says she feels more confident than during her first appearance on the show. “I think I’m a little better prepared technically. I know more about what to expect, what can happen in the dance,” she explained. She added that her enthusiasm for dance is even greater now than before.

Marcinková and her dance partner, Jaroslav Ihring, are focused on more than just winning. They aim to translate their choreography and ideas into compelling performances. “Dance isn’t just about technique, it’s about emotion. We’re trying to make each dance not only technically the best we can, but also compelling for the audience – funny, dramatic, or convey a message,” she said.

The actress is particularly excited about one dance in particular, though details were not disclosed. She also acknowledged the physical demands of training while balancing work and family life. Marcinková and Ihring highlighted what they appreciate most about each other during training sessions.
