Explosions were reported in Jerusalem on Thursday, March 12, after the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) detected rockets fired from Iran.

“The Palmachim and Ovda airbases belonging to the Zionist regime, as well as the headquarters of Shin Bet, were targeted by drones from the military of the Islamic Republic of Iran,” the Iranian military said in a statement broadcast on state television.
Iran has reportedly targeted military bases belonging to the United States and Israel in the region, as well as launching attacks against neighboring countries, since the start of Israeli and U.S. Strikes against targets in Iran last month.
Forces from the Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) have vowed relentless retaliation for ongoing attacks by the United States and Israel. Quds pledged to “open the gates of fire for them and will not stop until the enemy is defeated.”
In a statement released Wednesday, March 11, local time, the Quds Force described the U.S.-Israeli attacks against the Islamic Republic, which began on February 28, as a violation of international law and humanitarian values.
They emphasized that the attacks resulted in the death of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, as well as a number of senior Iranian officials and Iranian civilians.
The Quds Force, the IRGC’s most renowned elite unit, vowed, “We will open the gates of fire for them and will not stop until the enemy is defeated.”
The statement warned that “the enemy must grasp that their days of comfort are over, and that they will not be safe anywhere in the world – even in their own homes.”
“We will not stop fighting until global Zionism and international arrogance are eradicated, and that we will accept revenge on the oppressed and the martyrs from the oppressors and the arrogant.”
