Montréal will host a closing gala for the Month of Senegal featuring performances by Aida Samb and Assane Ndiaye.
The event, a celebration of Senegalese culture, will showcase the talents of both artists. Aida Samb and Doudou Ndiaye Katy previously performed together on RTS1, as seen in a February 3, 2013, YouTube video.
Samb as well has a solo presence online, with a performance of “Wareefu Ndaw” available on YouTube. The gala provides a platform for Senegalese artists to connect with audiences in Canada.
Assane Ndiaye is also featured on Last.fm as an artist associated with Aida Samb, alongside musicians like Thione Seck and Coumba Gawlo. The event underscores the growing recognition of Senegalese musical talent internationally.
