A young boy was reportedly attacked in Ružomberok’s pedestrian zone earlier this week.

The incident occurred near the post office building in the evening and was brought to the attention of municipal police by a passerby. Officers immediately began investigating and were able to locate the victim, who stated that an unknown man struck him in the head without provocation before fleeing the scene, according to a statement from the Ružomberok Municipal Police.

Suspect Apprehended After Search

„Using the city’s camera system, we were able to locate the suspect and turn him over to the state police in less than half an hour,“ officials said.
