– Several countries, particularly those affected by Iran’s attempt to close the Strait of Hormuz, will send warships, in cooperation with the United States, to retain the strait open and safe.

Norway Will Not Send Ships
The Norwegian Ministry of Defence confirmed to Nettavisen that the Norwegian armed forces will not send ships to the Middle East at this time.
“Norway currently has no plans to send Norwegian vessels to the Strait of Hormuz,” said press contact Marita Hundershagen to Nettavisen.
“The situation in the Middle East is extremely serious and deeply disturbing. We urge all parties to respect international law, protect civilians, and seek diplomatic solutions,” she added.

Trump Claims Dismissed
Trump further wrote on Truth Social that “the USA, in the meantime, will be bombing the hell out of the shoreline” and “continuously shooting Iranian boats and ships out of the water.”
“We will soon acquire the Strait of Hormuz OPEN, SAFE and FREE, one way or another,” he continued.
In the post, Trump also claimed that “we” have already destroyed 100 percent of Iran’s military capacity, a claim Iranian authorities have dismissed as a lie, VG reports.
