Crimson Desert on Xbox Series X/S: Performance Analysis & Visuals

Details regarding the performance of Crimson Desert on Xbox consoles were previously unavailable. Now, a closer glance reveals how the new Korean title performs on the Xbox Series X and Series S.

Concerns were initially raised about the Xbox Series S version of Crimson Desert, which operates without ray tracing and a 60fps mode.

Thanks to footage from Fuzion Xbox Testing, we can now examine how Crimson Desert runs on the least powerful console it was released on. Unfortunately, these concerns are confirmed – the image is extremely blurry in 40fps mode (I verified this by watching the footage on YouTube in 4K quality). However, the framerate does maintain the targeted values (40fps for Performance mode and 30fps for Quality).
