Kymco is expanding its presence in Argentina with the launch of its new Super 8 150 CBS scooter. Introduced by Grupo Corven, its local representative, the scooter is designed for urban mobility, offering a sporty aesthetic and a promise of practicality and low maintenance costs.
The Kymco Super 8 150 CBS is equipped with a 150 cc, four-stroke, single-cylinder OHC engine. It features air cooling via a turbine and carburetor fuel delivery, producing a maximum power output of 10.3 HP at 7000 rpm. Power is managed through a CVT automatic transmission and the scooter offers both electric and kick-start options.
Weighing 121 kg, the scooter measures 2035 mm in length, 750 mm in width, and 1090 mm in height, with a seat height of 780 mm. It features 120/70-14 tires on the front wheel and 120/80-14 tires on the rear. Safety features include a 240 mm hydraulic disc brake at the front and a 110 mm drum brake at the rear.
The fuel tank has a capacity of 6 liters, and the bi-plaza seat includes a folding backrest with a lockable storage compartment suitable for personal items or a helmet. Additional features include luggage hooks, a rear carrier, and dedicated footrests for the passenger.
A digital LCD dashboard provides essential information, including fuel level, tachometer, odometer, and speedometer readings. A USB port is also included.
The scooter’s design incorporates sporty lines and a distinctive dual-headlight front end. A windscreen further enhances the aesthetic. Six-spoke alloy wheels complete the look.
