Nicholas Brendon, the American actor best known for his role as Xander Harris in the beloved series “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” has died at the age of 54, his family announced Friday.
Brendon passed away in his sleep due to natural causes. Despite recent health challenges, his family shared that he was under medical care and maintained a positive outlook regarding his recovery.
The actor had previously revealed he suffered a heart attack and was diagnosed with a congenital heart condition, in addition to complications from caudal equina syndrome, which required multiple spinal surgeries.
