Actor Bruce Willis, known for roles in films like Die Hard and The Sixth Sense, was first diagnosed with aphasia in 2022, leading to his retirement from acting. Recent developments reveal his condition has progressed to frontotemporal dementia, impacting his cognitive abilities.

According to reports, Willis and his wife, Emma Heming Willis, first met two years before their wedding in 2009. The couple exchanged vows on the Turks and Caicos Islands. They later welcomed two daughters: Mabel Ray, born in 2012, and Evelyn Penn, born in 2014.

Now 71 years old, Willis’s diagnosis highlights the growing need for advancements in neurological research and early detection methods. Frontotemporal dementia affects language, behavior, and personality, and can present unique challenges for both patients and their families.
