Vivo is preparing to unveil its latest flagship smartphone, the X300 Ultra, with reports suggesting it will feature a substantial 7000mAh battery. While the device is slated for release on March 30, the company has so far only confirmed details regarding the camera specifications, leaving other features, including battery capacity, undisclosed.
Vivo X300 Ultra specifications
Images of the Vivo X300 Ultra circulating on Weibo reveal key specifications of the upcoming device. The phone will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor.
It will come equipped with 16GB of RAM, 16GB of virtual RAM (VRAM), and 512GB of internal storage. The screenshots also indicate the inclusion of Vivo VS1 and V3 chips. The VS1 chip is designed for pre-processing images, while the V3+ chip handles post-processing to enhance the quality of photos and videos.
A Dedicated Gaming Device
Regarding charging capabilities, leaks indicate the Vivo X300 Ultra will feature a 6600mAh battery, slightly larger than the 6510mAh battery found in the current Vivo X300 Pro. This increased capacity is expected to provide over a day of battery life with typical use. The Ultra version may support 100W wired charging, with other reports suggesting 40W or 50W wireless charging capabilities. This focus on battery life and charging speed reflects the growing demand for powerful mobile gaming experiences.
The Vivo X300s, launching alongside the X300 Ultra, is also expected to boast a large battery, potentially the largest in the X series, with a reported capacity of 7100mAh.
These devices, along with the Vivo Pad 6 Pro and a rumored video camera, are scheduled for release on March 30.
