Södertälje Business Week 2026: Cybersecurity, Insights & Networking

Södertälje, Sweden – Following a successful event last year, the annual Business Week returns to Södertälje April 13–17, 2026, with an expanded program designed to meet the evolving needs of the local business community.

Organizers say this year’s event builds on last year’s success by incorporating direct feedback from businesses. “Last year was a real success, and the most important thing for us this year has been to listen to what companies desire more of,” said Linda Färggren, project leader and head of the business development group. “Now we’ve turned up the volume and put together a week that is even more relevant, inspiring, and useful.”

Cybersecurity Takes Center Stage

The week kicks off with a focus on cybersecurity, a growing concern for businesses of all sizes. Hanna Linderstål, a leading expert in the field, will deliver a lecture on information security and corporate preparedness on April 13th. The event is particularly noteworthy as Linderstål typically works with senior leadership teams and security specialists at larger organizations.

“This is a unique opportunity for the local business community to benefit from knowledge that is often only available to larger organizations and security professionals,” Färggren stated. “Cybersecurity is not a future issue – it’s happening now.”

Following the lecture, a networking event will allow business owners to exchange experiences and strengthen their collective resilience, alongside the municipality’s safety and security department and emergency preparedness professionals.

Company Visits and Political Debate Highlight Week’s Agenda

On Tuesday and Wednesday, participants will have the opportunity to visit several of Södertälje’s innovative companies, gaining firsthand insight into production, development, and innovation. These company visits are designed to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among local businesses.

Thursday will be dedicated to analyzing the current business climate and discussing future prospects. A current business analysis will be presented, followed by a political debate where business owners can directly address local decision-makers.

The week will culminate in the Business Evening – a celebratory event featuring dinner, awards, and entertainment, recognizing the contributions of Södertälje’s business community. The event will be led by Maria Lindeberg, Head of Culture and Leisure, and Lucas Lindström, CEO and founder of GRW media.

Anders Wink, acting Head of Business Development, emphasized the importance of the week as a whole: “Business Week is an important meeting place where we harness the power of Södertälje’s entrepreneurship. It’s about gaining new insights and strengthening relationships – something that ultimately contributes to the development of the entire municipality.”

The ambition for this year’s event is clear: to create a week that not only engages but also delivers tangible benefits. “We have really taken off from the feedback from the business community and built a program that reflects their needs – from knowledge and market analysis to networking, and celebration. This is a week you don’t want to miss,” Färggren said.
