The GS Caltex Seoul Kixx are heading back to the postseason after a five-year absence, and they’re celebrating with the next generation of Korean volleyball talent.
On March 24th, GS Caltex will host local Seoul-area youth volleyball players and coaches at the Jangchung Gymnasium for their Jin Air 2025-2026 V-League Women’s Championship playoff matchup against Heungkuk Life Insurance.
This marks the first “spring volleyball” appearance for GS Caltex since the 2020-2021 season – excluding the 2021-2022 season which concluded without a postseason due to COVID-19 concerns. The team is looking to make the inaugural Women’s Championship playoff even more memorable.
GS Caltex has invited players and coaches from local schools including Jungang Girls’ High School, Ilsan Industrial High School, and Jamsil Middle School, strengthening their ties with the community. Participants from the ‘GS Caltex Height Growth Volleyball School’ program will also be in attendance. The team hopes to inspire the region’s young athletes as they pursue a playoff run.
“This return to spring volleyball after five seasons is more than just a result; it’s something built with our fans,” said a team statement. “We hope this will be an opportunity for the next generation of players to experience the highest level of competition firsthand and fuel their dreams.”
