The Chinese Embassy in Japan has reported repeated incidents of harassment and intimidation targeting its diplomatic facilities in recent years, urging Japanese authorities to reflect on the situation, correct errors, and conduct a thorough investigation and remediation.

The embassy held a press conference addressing a series of terror threats it has received, during which officials emphasized the need for Japan to take responsibility and act decisively to ensure the safety of diplomatic premises.

In response to the escalating situation, the embassy issued a safety alert to Chinese nationals residing in Japan, advising them to remain vigilant and prioritize personal security amid growing concerns over targeted incidents.

Footage released by the embassy revealed knives carried by individuals who forcibly entered the premises, highlighting the severity of the threats and drawing widespread attention to the pattern of intimidation.

The embassy further disclosed that it has faced threats on two separate occasions, calling on Japan to accelerate its investigation into incidents involving members of its Self-Defense Forces who breached embassy grounds, and to clarify the full circumstances surrounding those events.
