Leigh McDaniel, a well womb witch and ritualist based in Atlanta, offers Radical Well Womb Care and Root Tending as a form of alternative pelvic care. She is a Professional Women’s Pelvic Care Bodyworker trained by Martin Beaudoin and a certified Holistic Pelvic Care™ practitioner through instruction with Tami Lynn Kent. She has received training in The 3 Keys to Genital Dearmouring with Rahi Chun.
Her hands-on, consent-based practice focuses on exploring fascia, scars, stored trauma, lymphatic movement, abdominal and visceral work, and intra-vaginal techniques. McDaniel states this approach supports individuals experiencing conditions such as prolapse, vaginismus, incontinence, fertility challenges, PCOS, vulvodynia, tilted uterus, painful sex, sexual boundary ruptures, and postpartum recovery.
Beyond physical care, McDaniel frames her work as a pathway to deepen self-knowledge and healing, encouraging clients to reconnect with their pelvic bowl as a source of creativity, power, and inner wisdom. She emphasizes that healing the root—addressing sexual trauma, everyday trespasses, and physical effects from childbirth—was essential to her own journey of reclaiming safety, trust, and personal power in her body.
McDaniel reflects that her healing process required energetic, spiritual, emotional, and physical engagement with her womb, viscera, and vaginal space. By beginning at the “space of creation,” she aimed to release old, painful narratives and build room for new stories of embodiment and self-trust.
She notes that this work is ongoing—a lifelong journey of tending to the root and pelvic bowl to help individuals sense more fully at home in their bodies. For McDaniel, this process is not only therapeutic but also sacred, rooted in the belief that the pelvic region serves as a portal, oracle, and magical center of creativity and power.
