Medellín will host a national vaccination campaign on Saturday, April 25, 2026, with more than 80 vaccination sites operating across the city’s 16 communes and districts.

The initiative, part of Colombia’s Expanded Program on Immunization, will offer free doses to help residents complete their vaccination schedules and prevent the spread of infectious diseases.

Health authorities confirmed that vaccines for measles, yellow fever, COVID-19, and human papillomavirus (HPV) will be available during the event, administered based on age, medical history, and individual health needs.

Officials urged residents to visit their nearest vaccination point, emphasizing that the service is free and accessible to all.

The campaign aims to strengthen community immunity and close gaps in vaccination coverage, particularly for preventable diseases that pose ongoing public health risks.
