Huawei Watch D2 Receives Global Update with New Health Features
Huawei is rolling out a new global software update for the Watch D2 smartwatch today, adding blood pressure monitoring tools and heart rate variability data for users.
Software version 6.0.0.12 (C00M06) brings several new features to the original Watch D2, aligning it with the recently released Watch D2 Blue Edition. The update introduces a customizable reminder for single blood pressure measurements, designed to help users establish a regular monitoring routine. Improvements to the heart rate app now include the ability to view heart rate variability (HRV) data, alongside historical workout and recovery heart rate logs.
A new HealthMate watch face is also included, displaying current health metrics and providing quick access to initiate a new health check. The update also includes general system stability improvements and user interface optimizations. Accurate tracking of health metrics is increasingly important for preventative care and personalized wellness plans.
The software is being rolled out in phases and is available for download via the Huawei Health app. Users can find more information about the Huawei Watch D2 on the company’s website, and learn more about noncommunicable diseases from the World Health Organization.
Huawei stated the update will continue to deploy to users over the coming days.
