Inter gradually weathered the early storm and began to locate their footing, leading to a more competitive midfield battle.
The Nerazzurri threatened in the 34th minute as Henrikh Mkhitaryan drove into the Milan defense, but his attempt was blocked by Mike Maignan.
Goal! Milan took the lead in the 35th minute. Youssouf Fofana combined beautifully with Rafael Leao before playing a through ball to the left flank, where Pervis Estupinan arrived to slot the ball home.
