Egyptian media personality Amr Ellithy revealed that veteran actor Adel Imam has begun recording his memoirs in a video format.
Ellithy shared during an appearance on the “Masrah Al-Hayat” (Theater of Life) program on Kuwait’s Al-Ray TV channel: “Rami Imam told me that he is recording his father’s memoirs using video technology.”
He explained that the celebrated actor “is recording his answers from time to time in a way that documents the history of Egyptian art, which he led for a long time.”

He added: “I have a strong relationship with the Zaeem (The Leader, a nickname for Adel Imam). My uncle, Jamal Ellithy, was the first to introduce him to the public as a hero in the film “Al-Bahth An Fadiha” (In Search of a Scandal) and then in “Al-Bahth An Al-Mata’eb” (In Search of Trouble). The Zaeem always expressed his gratitude to my uncle, because he was the first to believe that Adel Imam was capable of playing a leading role in cinema.”
Adel Imam has largely stayed out of the public eye since celebrating his birthday in 2023.
