Ahmed Helmy Returns to Cinema with “Hodota” After Four-Year Hiatus

Egyptian star Ahmed Helmy is set to return to the big screen with his recent film, “Hodota,” marking his first cinematic project in four years. The announcement signals a significant moment for fans of the acclaimed actor, known for his comedic timing and engaging performances.

Preparations for the film took four months, with Helmy actively searching for a standout script for his comeback, according to sources close to the actor. He ultimately connected with director Mazen Ashraf, who presented him with the concept for “Hodota,” which immediately resonated with the star.
